So here’s some new stuff:

Sketchbook self portrait.

More ink bokeh. This time on a wall.

Large-ish piece based on a photograph that I took in some gnarly dumpster lot.

And some nonsense.
Ok. And I just added a bunch of new people to my blogroll, so check them out!
As a lover of bokeh, I just think this is the next logical step for me…

Ink on paper.

Half way through the drawing I made this color copy on a copier that was low on blue ink.
“A polka-dot has the form of the sun, which is a symbol of the energy of the whole world and our living life, and also the form of the moon, which is calm. Round, soft, colourful, senseless and unknowing. Polka-dots can’t stay alone; like the communicative life of people, two or three polka-dots become movement… Polka-dots are a way to infinity.”
–Yayoi Kusama’s mission statement, 1978
“I am just another dot in the world”
–Yayoi Kusama

MWAHAHAHAHHAHHAHA!

A flier I made in like 2 minutes. haha.

So here are some recent dailies:

Study for an oil painting

The oil painting – my first in about 10 years! Super fun.

Here’s some lettering I did on my friend Matt’s MFA studio wall.
And then Serenity from the PNCA library was nice enough to let me display some work. Actually, a lot of work. Like, the first half of my 365 Days drawings. So, the show itself isn’t modest, but it’s just my school’s library so where I’m showing is modest… which is good since I’ve never shown my work before. It’ll be up from October 2nd to November 3rd. Here are some pictures:
